Walk to School

Friday 18th November 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

On Friday 18th November, we will run our “Walk to School” in conjunction with Daniel Morcombe’s “Keeping Kids Safe” Program.

The students are asked to wear something red and bring a gold coin in support of the Morcombe Foundation.

The meeting points for the walk are:

  1. Peter Hill Power – corner of Saxton St and the GV Highway – start walking at 8.25am
  2. The Skate Park – start walking at 8.25am
  3. The corner of Toorak & Mae Streets – start walking at 8.25am
  4. The Corner of Wattle Drive and Brooke Court – this group will start walking at 8.15am

On arrival at school, breakfast will be provided for the students in the Mackillop Centre.

During the day, the students will work with their teachers using the Daniel Morcombe Program which has a variety of resources targeted at different age levels.
